This system also includes Garmin's MapSource Trip & Waypoint Manager software. The user interface is intuitive and the screen is bright and easy to see even in light. This is my first GPS unit so I can't compare to other units but I thought that the battery life would be longer. The software is okay and I'm disappointed about having to buy aftermarket trail software but oh well. Other than that I'm very please with the unit and don't see needing to upgrade any time soon for what I will be using it for.
